Ottumwa knocked off Cedar Falls 1-0. The Tigers just could not generate enough offense in the second half of the season, and that is what derailed them

I was really surprised that Western Dubuque lost in the first round to Davenport Central.

You went with your gut and actually was pretty close. Who would have thought three teams from the CIML Iowa conference to state? I thought your only initial pick of Cedar Falls was not a good one. Should be a fun state tournament and honestly not sure there's on clear cut favorite to win it this year.
