Norwalk 4, WDM Dowling Catholic 3 [PK Shootout] - Game played @ Norwalk.

not sure what #23 [johnny?] was thinking when he slide tackled Eric May from norwalk in the box from behind on his 1v1 with the keeper. earned himself a red card as well as the equilizer for norwalk. pks went 4-3 in favor or Norwalk. Tony Maxey played well. Eric May had 2 goals for norwalk and the game winning pk in the shootout. Good win for the 1A Norwalk squad

That is awesome! Was it an evenly played game? Shows the top couple of 1A schools can compete with the big boys.

it was 3-1 going into halftime if i recall correctly. dowling was up. norwalk scored like 25 seconds into the 2nd half. then the pk and they are in overtime. id say that norwalk pretty much out played dowling in the 2nd half. dowling had some pretty crazy goals in the first half. a crossed onetimer by #2 Edwin K and a crossed header back post on another goal. it was no fluke in the end. norwalk wanted it more and came out on top. good win for nowalk. giving dowling some 1A lovin :-D GO Warriors!

Dowling had the first 3 goals, and Norwalk got the next 3. The difference in the pk shootout was Ben Smiley's save on Dowling's 3rd shot.

good win guys. Glad to see we gave up less goals against u than Dowling, too bad we couldn't score though.

don't be too proud, dowling is one of the most overrated teams in 2A

Dowling blows, they were good last year because Thomas Oerteli was awesome in goal and absorbed all the pressure. With Oerteli their Felz controlled everything else.

The level of high school soccer has dropped dramatically in the CIML after Valley and Dowling both graduated some of hte best senior classes in their history
