#3 Cedar Rapids, Kennedy vs #4 Cedar Rapids, Washington at Kingston Stadium
A rematch from Week 2 and this once again be a good one. CR Washington has been playing very well and I think have learned quite a bit from the first match-up. CR Kennedy has been outstanding all year. I think this one comes down to some late plays and CR Kennedy’s defense I feel is a little better which will be small advantage to them.
#2 Dowling Catholic, WDM vs #16 Lewis Central at Williams Stadium
Another 4A rematch. Lewis Central continues to prove people wrong and showing they are a very solid team. However Dowling’s skilled positions are quite talented and give them the advantage in this one.
#15 Iowa City, City High @ #1 Bettendorf
City High has been been playing well the last few weeks but Bettendorf has been rolling all year and I don’t see why that will not continue. I think it will be close to start but Bettendorf ends up wearing down IC High in the second half.
#9 Valley, West Des Moines @ #7 Johnston
A great match-up here between two teams that are familiar with each other. Johnston boasts a very sound defense but Valley has a very nice offense led by Mason. Valley is the more complete team and that gives them the advantage here.
