Chariton isn't a great shooting team, so I can't see them hitting a bunch of three's to keep things close. It'll be interesting to see how their coach plans to hold Pemsl in check and attack the boards.

It'll be close if 6-6 power forward Sage Maiers can't play for Wahlert because of the severe ankle sprain he suffered at the end of the first half vs. MOC. This is a recurrence of a previous injury which has slowed him all year, and kept him out of a couple of games. I think Chariton gets a bum rap because of their schedule, but they have three really quality players in Chuol, Laing and Hockensen. I look for a close game.

Have to give Chariton credit, they made a game of it for a while. Wahlert is just too good and too deep though.

Great game by Wahlert. Shot the lights out and put Chariton away late. No chance they lose on Saturday, IMO. Chariton gave them a good game for three quarters. Foul trouble and just overall depth disadvantage was their undoing.

Big scare when Cordell went down, and one starter already out with an injury. I thought both teams played very well. I thought Chariton looked much better than against Solon and I was proud how Wahlert kept their poise when Pemsl went down. The next game will be a really tough one, though, because Pella is so good and Xavier has the revenge motive against Wahlert.
