#9 Hinton @ #3 Underwood

Both teams like to air it out. Hinton comes out of the toughest district in my opinion but Underwood has been on a tear. Defense will be the key here and Underwood has a small advantage there.

#11 Hudson @ #1 Regina, Iowa City

Hudson’s tough district shows they are proven but IC Regina is a whole nother animal.

#14 Madrid @ #6 Van Meter

Run heavy vs air it out, will make it come down to defense and turnovers.

#12 Panorama, Panora @ #4 Dike-New Hartford

Panorama has had a nice season but a long road to Dike-New Hartford who is an angry team after a bad regular season week 9 doesn’t bode well.

Pella Christian @ #2 West Branch

Kacmarynski and PC got a nice 1st round win and can really throw the ball around. West Branch and Lenoch look to continue their dominating season. West Branch has a very solid defense and home field gives them an advantage.

#13 Pocahontas Area @ #8 Western Christian, Hull

Schoening and Case have provided Pocahontas a very nice 1-2 combo and help with a complete offense. Western Christian is coming off of a big win against West Lyon and Kooima and company look to take another step forward. Western Christian’s district and home field give them an advantage in this one.

#15 Ridge View @ # 10 South Central Calhoun

Ridge View is coming off of a nice 1st win and SCC is coming off of a dominate win. Both teams have had successful seasons. Ridge View comes from the toughest district in 2A in my opinion. SCC and Henkenius and company have played great down the stretch. Should be a good one and I think SCC has the advantage with their passing game at home.

#7 South Winneshiek, Calmar @ #5 Saint Ansgar

The premier game in 1A Monday with two very good teams facing off. It features two teams that enjoy pounding the ball on the ground with multiple backs. South Winneshiek has played the tougher schedule but Saint Ansgar has the home field advantage. This one seriously could go either way. Whoever makes a few key plays through the air most likely wins.

The Madrid-Van Meter rematch ought to be a good one. Madrid won the first meeting 50-35 as Santi ran for almost 400 yards. Weather should be ideal, which will help Van Meter's passing game.
