1A Playoff Pick'Em

With a 10-10 record yes they could win some bad districts. Against teams with winning records, however, this year they are 1-8
I do think they can give Hinton a run in the postseason but 2 good players makes it tough to make it very far.
Yeah man do you think south o brien could beat the lakers?

Not saying your wrong with it not being a close game but saying GLR has 2 average players?? Thats ridiculous. The Haken kid is having an all state season and is a very very good player and Mauldin is a very good player, the problem is there is not very much around them. GLR however is the 7th best 3pt shooting % team in class 1a. It will take GLR making 10-12 3pts to have a chance and Haken having his usual stat game, but agree SOB is head and shoulders better. In fact maybe they should just cancel the game. And who's to say Hinton won't beat GLR anyway, but they won't have a shot vs SOB either so no need discussing things or facts either.

I completely agree. Matt Haken and Payton Mauldin are both having all-state caliber seasons. Haken is very top of state in rebounds and blocks, while putting up 17+ ppg. If GLR had one more consistent threat on the floor, they would be a top level 1A team. Assuming they get there, the Hinton matchup should be a great one, but South O'Brien is too deep for GLR to stay with.

Heard South O’ Briens point guard Tristan Wilson hurt his knee. Anybody know any details on that?

Have been told he went down against MMCRU in the 2nd half. No idea the severity of it though. He did not play against Gehlen the next game according to quikstats.
