West Hancock looks really bad. Still not sure if it is GVC making them look bad or if it is just a bad WH team making GVC look good. I am leaning towards the latter. I have never seen a state team throw so many passes to no one.

Bad basketball or not, it's no surprise to see GVC caused the other team to turn the ball over a ton.

Dave Stubbs finally gets a state tournament victory! Only took him stacking the deck with a 20 year old playing his 5th year of HS basketball and some interesting transfers to get it done. I'm sure it was weird not seeing a Stubbs coached team playing with a deer in the headlights look on the big stage...

That's what I was wondering. My son played fall league with 4 of them and got to know a couple of the others. None of the ones he played with were older than their class.

Hard to watch at times. Maybe that's why I left in the second quarter. The Demeluenaire kid looked good though.

I'm not sure where #4 played before. It is interesting that on Quikstats he was listed as a JR the last two years before being listed as a SR this year. A typo I'm sure, but wouldn't you think that would be corrected?

So wait...do you have any actual proof of anything you claim? Are you just basing it off that quikstats thing? Do you know any more to the story? Or are you just making stuff up to discredit a team and besmirch a high school kid? You are making some big claims with nothing to back it up.

Yep, they have played some great D two games in a row. Clearly I didn't give them enough credit that first game.
