She seems stable, yes?

Saw that, she needs to live in a padded room. The lady who shot my partner and shot at me was similar.

It's incredibly frustrating and the mental health crisis in our country has been COMPLETELY neglected. When you put these people off on cops, jails and prisons to deal with, the results are both predictable and often tragic.

A Kansas City Fire Medic was just stabbed to death in the back of his ambulance by a woman just like the one in this video.

F’d up situation.

I wonder how much of this is a mental issue and how much is shitty parenting? Because this is infantile toddler behavior.

No doubt that sh!tty parenting does screw up kids who grow up to be screwed up adults. But that’s not what we’ve got here, her brain chemistry is as effed up as a football bat.

This crazy Chica needs to be sentenced to serious medication

If we buy Greenland, we can use it as a mental health colony.

I think that's certainly part of it. IMO shitty parenting leads to a F'd up outlook on life and personal responsibility. That often leads to substance abuse. Combine that outlook with a chemically altered and often damaged brain and there you are.

Also, as a coup de grâce, you can add in natural mental health issues, which is still an issue, and you have the perfect trifecta.

IMO, the trifecta is what we most often deal with. People with mental health disorders often attempt to self-medicate with street drugs because they hate the "calmness" that prescription medicine creates in them. Also, because they are nuts, they're a pain in the ass to those around them so many don't get effective parenting. They become someone else's problem.

You said it all...SENTENCED to take medication. That's what has to happen. They cannot make sound decisions yet we allow them to do just that.

It's going to cost a LOT of money, especially to do it the right and humane way, but we need asylums again. We have to make sure that they aren't the hell holes they once were but they are required.

Were the old asylums cruel and torturous? Yes they were. Sentencing these people to live under bridges, selling their bodies to get by, while occasionally locking them up in jails and prisons with people who are unqualified and ill-equipped to deal with them is equally cruel...not to mention the deadly encounters with first responders.

What’s the update on her? You never said if you shot her or not.

I can't yet go into great detail. However, after shots were exchanged, her gun jammed and we were able to take her into custody.

She's in jail and I can't imagine that she'll get out before her trial. She's facing Attempted Murder of LE x2 and imo will also face Assault 1st or 2nd, one or the other, at that point. Additionally we revoked her bond on previous charges: Assault 2nd (also on LE), Resisting Arrest and a third case of Menacing. The menacing was committed using a gun as well.

She is obviously a danger to others if left to her own devices.

I still say you should’ve fuct her before you dropped her off at jail.
