    No Grinnell doesn't return many at all. I would say 95% of their starters from last year have graduated, meaning 2-3 returning starters.

    Looks like 36 teams in each of the top 3 classes, based off of last years BEDS that will move many 3A teams up to 4A and Many 2A teams up to 3A. 36,36,36 Does this mean the top 108 sized schools will be 3A-5A?

    I didn't know that. Thanks. At harlan Grinnell seemed to be controlling the Harlan game...then the wheels came off. (Hunter went down and wasn't able to play the second half and they had no backup RB as their capable #2 RB Broke his Ankle or something in preseason)

    Grinnell would have been a 1 loss team. Their opponent cancelled so they sought out Harlan, agreeing to drive out there and play them. IF this year would have been normal Grinnell would have played Waverly Shell rock instead of Harlan. Pretty sure they win that one.

    The biggest surprise for me this evening was the Xavier Score. I thought they would comfortably win.

    Grinnell has found their defense. Man they were lights out on D tonight. 3 of those turnovers were forced by the D. The fumble was produced by a jarring hit from the Grinnell Lineback Eli Rose.

The smaller communities in our state that are thriving are in close proximity to larger metro areas or they invested in establishing Colleges and Universities in their towns long ago. Midwestern blight has mainly hit towns in our state of who had foolish founding fathers...
