    His name is Pietro Vannini, and he is legit. 6'3", and can play inside or out. With 5 senior starters returning, he's a perfect compliment off the bench. Will play as much as a starter. Barring injury, WACO will be a very tough out as the season wears on.

    I'm not privvy to their decision making process, but can assume that they felt a lot more comfortable with their depth in the backfield than on the line. In the season opener, four guys combined for 244 yards on 18 carries before they turned it over to the reserves.

    Too early thoughts

    G-R is returning a total of 18 points scored and 1 of their top 12 players in tackles from last year. I've heard their numbers drop tremendously following the 2018 senior class. They may not even be able to field a JV team along with varsity this year.
