    Amazing coach and guy from what I've heard but Hoover would be a terrible fit for that style. Not enough depth to run that offense. Spread would compete in 3A where more teams have players going 2 ways.

    I've seen enough WD seasons end in heartbreak the past 10 years to not believe that the Miller's will have a storybook ending in Solon. Even if WD has an extremely talented team yet again.

    I still think Dowling beats Ankeny but curious of how this Ankeny's season would've gone had they not lost 3 starters to Centennial. A very good team could've been great and possibly favored.

    Valley v Waukee

    You forgot the biggest edge out there. Coaching. Valley has one of the best to do it in the state and a lot of senior leadership. Waukee coaching has always been the let down and why so much talent over the past few years hasn't led to the dome.

    Waukee has already started the split process and August 2021 their second high school opens. Good luck with Valley, it will never happen. Really agree with the 5A option. Seems to have somewhat leveled the playing field with the girls.

    Western Dubuque does bring back their top RBS, QB and a playmaker returner but they lost most of their size last year. Granted if Harris doesn't get hurt they beat Xavier last year, they still had a lot of guys playing both ways interior wise. Tough to replace that.
