    I am staying with Wapsie the whole way. Love the way this group gets after it. I think they will frustrate Garrigan and pull away late for a close win.

    BH has a matchup problem with Miller who has dominated two very athletic teams. But the NL guards will struggle in this one unless they can create mayhem like Wednesday night. I have Boyden Hull in a low scoring close game.

    I said tie it to the socioeconomic numbers for all schools public and private. What argument would there be against that?

    Success and/or recruiting isn't the problem. It is the huge socioeconomic advantage private schools have over public schools. Tie any multiplier to free and reduced lunch numbers in each district and see what happens.

    2A is gonna be harder to call for the semis. I think Camanche is way more gifted but Boyden Hulls experience and coaching carry them to a close win. North Linn is way overmatched physically but I think they keep this game closer than people think. Still going with Treynor is another close...

    Not hating on Grandview for being successful, just don't like the route of recruiting out of state and country to 1A Iowa basketball. Just my opinion though.

    Personally I just like watching them play these last few seasons at state. Felt sorry for them with the whole Grand View Christian deal a couple years ago. Fun group to follow when you can only see them at state. Not sure about the co-coach or running up the score argument so I could care...

    Not sure how North Linn escaped there but they adjusted their game when needed. Thought it would be higher scoring but both teams shot it poor all night long. Good defense or a bit of nerves at state? Exciting first game of the 2A tourney.
