Well, in Hospital……

But nobody can figure out what’s wrong with me. I told them to check with Doc on this board. 😇

I have Type 2 Diabetes and got an infection in the lower leg and the swelling woukd not go down. I was taking glipicide to lower my blood sugar. Last Friday I had a Doppler survey to check fo a blood clot as a precaution. I didn’t eat supper Friday or much of anything Saturday (coffee and a piece of toast). Sunday morning I couldn’t stand up. I finally got help and they took me to the emergency room at a branch of St Luke’s Hospital where they admitted me for observation.

They gave me an antibiotic thru an IV for 2 days and the swelling went down. They were fixing to release me and a blood test showed my white corpuscle count started up again after being almost normal. The leg is fine. The high white corpuscles count still continues high and they keep giving me an antibiotic IV for infection. I feel pretty good. No pain anywhere but obviously I have an infection somewhere. They have given me a number of tests but nothing has shown up. They thought it might be a touch of pneumonia but the IV I’m taking is good for that. I took a chest and stomach C-scan this morning but results not back.

I have 4 in house Docs check me each day and one outside consultant trying to help Docs on this site and they haven’t figured it out yet. I would appreciate any suggestions or I may have to live here. I don’t think they can release me with this infection. 😇

Ex-PLO Spokeswoman DHS Hired To Vet Immigrants Despite Anti-Semitism

How does this f'ing happen? OH YEAH... democrats are in charge right now...

This bitch was put on leave from DHS 6 months ago for her incredible anti-Semitism, but is still on the payroll!! What does it take to get fired in this administration??

Nejwa Ali was hired by the U.S. government to “perform credible fear interviews by reviewing evidence, credibility, and determine admissibility” of asylum-seekers. While working for DHS, her social media consisted largely of a jihad against Jews, posting memes celebrating Hamas terrorists paragliding into a dance festival with guns, writing “F*** Israel, the government, and its military. Are you ready for your downfall?” and sharing videos with captions like “F*** Israel and any Jew that supports Israel,” The Daily Wire revealed October 18.

DHS said it put her on leave after that story, but six months later, she was still being paid, gloating online about her unpaid leave and seeming to suggest that Mayorkas was protecting her. On social media, when somebody commented on her page, “When you do everything you can to get fired but the boss says NO,” she responded, "hilarious, seriously".

Since the FBI has admitted Hunter's laptop as evidence

And proved that it is real and was not tampered with by anyone. Do lyin' joe & the 51 intelligence officials get tried for election interference or treason? Does the media that was complicit in the fabricated story and pushed the narrative deserve to lose their jobs and possible trial for election interference? Does the person on this board that swallowed the demo's talking points feel like a bitch?

Looking Ahead - 2023 Thoughts

Congrats to Assumption and a great 1A season with a number of great seasons for teams from all around the state.

Thoughts on next season? A lot of senior laden teams at state this year and a lot of talented players moving on. I see Columbus as being the early favorite from the east side. Haven't looked at west rosters that closely to see who will be good from that side.

The End Zone

Please remember and abide by the rules of The End Zone. The End Zone is for Iowa Prep fans only. Whatever is said in The End Zone, must stay in The End Zone.

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I feel like we play a bunch of tough teams that could give us a hard time, but I’d say Sioux City East would be a hard matchup because they’re our biggest rivals because everyone really gives it all they have in those rivalry games.”
