It is my pleasure to announce that we have made our decision for the winner of the 1st ever Kirk Hageman Memorial Wrestling Scholarship. We had many great applications from across the state that made it a very difficult decision. Ultimately we decided that there were 2 people this year who were worthy of the scholarship and stood for all of the values that we are looking for. It is my HONOR to announce this years 2 winners.
Trevor Murano of Dallas Center Grimes & Brittney England of Cedar Rapids Prairie
They are both wonderful young people who have been very heavily involved in wrestling and will continue to do so going forward as well. Please help me in congratulating both Trevor and Brittney on this great honor and here is to many more years of helping out young people involved in the worlds oldest and greatest sport!!
