With the regular season either already being over for some teams/classes or coming to an end for other teams/classes, whose everyone looking forward to watching this postseason? Any matchups right away that look good? Any teams with cake walks to Des Moines? Just looking to see the baseball message board get a little more action then what it's gotten this summer! State your class and district/substate. Hopefully this becomes a good thread for everyone throughout the playoffs!

How about a potential New Hampton versus South Winn match-up in 2A district 6, with the winner potentially getting Waterloo Columbus in the substate final. Could be a few great games. The big question......will Cole McDonald from New Hampton pitch in the postseason?

Harlan going for 9 appearances in 13 years and going for 5 in a row....if they get there can they win it!!!

Very young team with a good core of juniors and sophs and 2 freshman and an 8th grader....possibility of being in it for 2 - 3 more years to come. Same team that put 3 8th graders on the field a few years back at 3A

agree...the harlan team is so young, when i looked at the roster, wow....2 seniors on the team i blieve,,,and a freshman batting in the 300,s..a great future for the next 3 years for harlan

I don't normally post in the baseball threads, but I'd like to congratulate CMB (my kids play there) for knocking off Ogden last night.Given their lack of success at baseball, this is probably their biggest win in 15 years. They'll play North Polk for the District title on Saturday.
