Same, since the GOP became the party of being the opposite of whatever the Dems are for. While I mostly agree with that stance, I take issue with a platform that is based on “not these guys” vs actual principles. GOP has been drifting away from a principle based platform since Reagan left office, which is why we are stuck with supporting half assed Republican candidates because they beat whatever pinko, liberal trash the Dems have put on the ballot. Fvcking sorry state of affairs all around.

I’d take Bill Clinton over the shit we have right now and that’s saying a lot.

IMHO Truman (although a Dem) and Eisenhower were among the best POTUS ever. The world would look a lot different now without some really smart and consequential decisions they made under similar sociopolitical challenges.

Eisenhower didn't do shit but play golf and OK the interstate system. He was good at photo ops too.
