He hasn't coached Varsity baseball in several years. He was a sophomore baseball coach at Central. He improved Davenport Central as a football program, but they were still mediocre at best.
I see that they only have 5 loses on the year, after yesterday's split with Urbandale. Is that mostly because of the remaining "O'Neil" talent or is the new coach making changes?? Is he managing or coaching??
Resigned back in the fall. I heard rumors of problems with parents. I wouldn't be surprise if he is back next year. Denny Barton is retiring after this season, maybe, Urbandale would be a good fit for O'Neill.
