No surprises on who won. Surprised Waukee pitched a shut out.

of the final four in the central half of the state (calling it the west side is pointless), was there a huge dropoff in talent between the Dowling-Valley-Waukee triad and Ankeny? Although Ankeny outgained Dowling, the maroons seemed to dominate defensively and special teams (sort of the hs version of beamerball) and were up 48-0 early in third.

Yes. There was a huge drop off. I talked about the tiers earlier with Screwloose...
